Do you have any questions about our holiday apartements in Egmond aan Zee?

Most questions are answered below. If your question is not answered here, you can contact us by e-mail.

How can I make a reservation?

You can make a reservation quickly and easy online, 24 hours a day. You will find the availability and price details when you are in the booking page. If a preferred date is not available, an alternative date/apartment will be offered. If you still have a question, please contact us. See the section ‘Contact’.

Should there be any errors in the booking system during your online reservation, we will still reserve the right to offer you an alternative or, if necessary, to cancel the reservation without extra charge.

 

What is the minimum age for renting a holiday apartement?

We require a minimum age of 21 for renting a holiday apartement, however we focus mainly on guests who come as a family to spend their holiday.

The accommodation is not suitable for certain group groups, like youth holidays and bachelor parties.

In some cases we can refuse a booking.

Can I book a different arrival day than the Friday and Monday?

This is possible, except in the high season, please mail us your request and we will contact you about the flexible possibilities.

In the high season only per week/or 2 weeks for rent, arrival/departure day is Friday.

What are the cancellation conditions at Four Seasons ?

In case of cancellation, the recreation taker pays compensation to the entrepeneur.

It amounts to:

  • In case of cancellation more than 3 months prior to the effective date, 15 % of the established price;
  • In case of cancellation between three to two months before the prior to the effective date, 50 % of the established price;
  • In case of cancellation between two to one months before the prior to the effective date, 75 % of the established price;
  • In case of cancellation within one month prior to the effective date, 90 % of the established price;
  • In case of cancellation from the effective date,100% of the price.

To cancel your holiday because of a situation is not pleasant, but you can fortunately insure yourself against various cancellation costs by taking out cancellation insurance.

We recommend that you take out this insurance with your own insurer. 

 

 

When do I have to pay for my reservation?

For definite reservations, 50% deposit within 3 days and 50% remainder payment 6 weeks before arrival. The total amount of the reservation has to be received no later than 6 weeks before arrival.

When making a reservation within 8 weeks, the total amount must be paid before the arrival date.

For last minute bookings you can pay cash or PIN on arrival.

The deposit is € 250,-  per stay. You can pay this by signing a one-time authorisation which will be sent to you as an attachment to your booking confirmation or you will receive it on arrival.

 

Do you want to rent bed linens during your stay or bring your own?

Yes, that is possible, bed linen rental costs € 12,50 per person/child/baby.

Please note that this must be booked in advance and is not available on the day of arrival.

A baby bed (with mattress) costs € 15,– per bed excl. linens.

Of course you have the choice to bring your own bed linen, there are 2 person beds (180x200cm)
and there are 1 person beds (90x200cm).

This is different for per appartment.

There are also 1 person duvets and pillows.

Do I need to bring my own towels and kitchen towels?

You can bring your own towels for the bathroom or rent them for       € 10,– per person per package, you have to reserve in advance.

In the kitchen of the appartment you will find a kitchen towel, a hand towel, a kitchen towel and a dish brush.

What is available in the kitchen?

The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, combination microwave, toaster, filter coffee machine and a kettle.

The appartments on the Voorstraat have a Nespresso machine.

There is enough inventory to prepare your own meals.

Dishwasher tablets are not available, you need to bring them yourself.

Where can I receive the key to my appartment?

In your confirmation you will find your booked accommodation with the address, please pay attention to which location you have booked, location Voorstraat or location Zuiderstraat.

We ask you to contact us a few days before your arrival about your arrival time, you can do this by mail or phone.

Where can we park when we arrive?

Location Voorstraat
With 1 parking card per appartment (from 1 March till 1 November) you can park in parking zone C-D.
The parking card can be used until 10.00 am on the day of departure, it is not possible to keep it longer.

For the appartments of location Voorstraat there is no parking place available in the garage or use the bike storage of location Zuiderstraat. This is because of the limited places in the garage.

Location Zuiderstraat
With 1 parking card at type Zeeschelp/ Zonnig Duin ,( 1 March till 1 November) you can park in parking zone C-D, in front of our complex.

If there are still parking places available in the garage, you can park here after agreement.

The Appartments type Duinplezier/Strandplezier/Droomzand have 1 parking place in the garage per Apartment.

All our appartments situated at the Zuiderstraat can use the locked bicycle storage.

It is not possible to park more than 2 cars per appartment in the garage because there is not enough parking place.
(The garage has a max. height of 1.95 mtr.).

Zuiderstraat apartement Duynparel nr.9 has a private garage for 1 car + 1 parkingplace in front of this garagedoor and a bicycle storage.

Free parking from 1. November till 1. March in all areas of Egmond aan Zee.

Can I also check-in earlier or check-out later in the appartment?

Because of the change, the accommodations will be cleaned from 10:00 to 15:00.

In consultation, it can be checked whether arriving earlier or checking out later is possible.

On the day of leaving, the accommodation must be left before 10 a.m. in agreement with the house rules that you will find in the apartement.

Can I use Wi-Fi, CD and DVD player in my apartment?

You can use free wireless internet in your own apartment.

So during your stay you can just check your mail, twitter, whatsapp, chat or work online with your own laptop.

There is no CD or DVD player in the apartments.

With how many persons can I use an appartment?

In the description of an accommodation, it is indicated how many persons the accommodation is suitable for.

This refers to the maximum number of persons allowed in the flat and the number of beds.

It is not allowed to bring your own beds/air beds.

What are the rules for pets and smoking in the accommodation?

Pets and smoking are not allowed in all appartments.

This is because of hygiene and fire safety.

Is there a laundry nearby?

Yes, at the Wasboet you can do laundry, drying, folding and ironing, if necessary including pick-up and delivery.

Can I offer a stay as a gift and what are the possibilities?

Always nice to give and to get!

We can make you a custom-made gift voucher, if you wish, in combination with a tasty dinner in our Restaurant Het Wapen van Egmond.

After payment of the money, the gift voucher will be sent to you in a special gift packaging.
